The 2015 Early Career researchers’ (ECR) conference will be held at the University of York on the 7th and 8th of April.
Running since 1986, this conference brings together vibrant PhD students in the area of soil science.
An important aim of the ECR conference is to provide a platform for early career researchers to present their work and network with their peers and colleagues. This conference is, therefore, an excellent opportunity for students to showcase, discuss and disseminate their work in a formal setting.
During the conference there will be discussion groups/workshops on ‘the interdisciplinary nature of soil’ and a seminar on career development as well as a C.V. clinic.
You are invited to submit an abstract for an oral or poster presentation which will be reviewed by the ECR Organising Committee. The closing date for submission is Monday 2nd February 2015.
You must be a registered Student Member of the British Society of Soil Science to attend this conference. If you are not currently a Member of the Society then joining is easy. Details can be found here
You will need to register to attend the ECR conference. Please note places are limited to 60 delegates.
