The Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew has launched their first annual State of the World's Plants report which is now available online
The report addresses thirteen questions about our current knowledge on the State of the World’s Plants. The main findings not only illustrate the incredible amount of information that is already available about the world’s plants but also the significant knowledge gaps.
Look out for the Special Issue of Soil Use and Management sponsored by ADAS, which is dedicated to the memory of Professor Brian Chambers who sadly passed away in 2014.
The issue comprises an editorial/obituary and 17 papers on a broad range of topics relating to soil nutrient management, the environment and policy
It can be accessed now via the Wiley online library.
The two Society Journals, European Journal of Soil Science and Soil Use and Management are now available as an app on iTunes

The 2016 Society Annual Meeting is being held at the University of Reading, Reading, Berkshire, United Kingdom on 7th and 8th September in collaboration with the Soil Security Program (SSP).
