Nominations for membership of the NERC Training Advisory Group

2nd March 2016

The Natural Environment Research Council (NERC) is seeking new members for its Training Advisory Group (TAG).

TAG is the key source of advice to the NERC Executive on the strategic direction and success of NERC training investments, including NERC's role and strategy in meeting skills shortages and other training priorities, on driving up the quality of training, and on recommendations on the award of training funds.

To ensure the membership of TAG includes a spread of expertise across the whole of NERC's remit we welcome applications from people from all parts of NERC's community, including end-users and early-career researchers.

For further details and to nominate yourself or someone else for membership, please see the following link

The closing date for applications is 16.00 on Thursday 7 April 2016.

Interviews will be held the week commencing 3 May 2016. All reasonable expenses incurred in connection with attending an interview will be paid. The next Training Advisory Group meeting is scheduled for Monday 6 June 2016 in London. It is anticipated that successful applicants would attend this meeting.
