Conor Murphy is stepping down as the Society Student representative on Council on 31st December 2015 and we are now looking for nominations for a new Studet representative.

Conor has said of the role, "It was a great experience and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I’ve learned a lot of new skills and the role allowed me to meet great people in the soil science community and beyond."

The duties of this role are to represent the student cohort of the society, engage with prospective student members and help the society to develop courses/workshops/talks for student members. Also you will be responsible for organising the programme for the 2017 Early Career Researcher Conference.

If you are interested in this role please get in touch. Please note that applications need to be registered by 5pm on Monday 21st September 2015

Candidates are expected to provide a brief bio and state why they are interested in this position (max 200 words).

This will be uploaded onto the website and all Society student members will be asked to vote at the end of September 2015.
