BSSS member Dr Keith Shepherd from the World Agroforestry Centre (ICRAF) wrote a blog to mark Global Soil Week 2015 (19th to 23rd April 2015).

Nature, The international weekly journal of Science, published an in depth feature of Professor Lorna Dawson and her work in forensic science, dubbing her the "Soil Sleuth".

The Society hosted an informal reception for Members and invited guests on Tuesday 14th April 2015 150m above the ground on the Observation Deck of the Danube Tower (Donauturm).
The Society has a stand at the 2015 European Geosciences Union Assembly in Vienna week commencing 13th April 2015.
