"FOREST SOILS UNDER GLOBAL CHANGE"
When: WEDNESDAY, May 24, 2017, BIFoR Research Forest Site at Nobury Junction STAFFORDSHIRE
Global change including increasing atmospheric carbon dioxide is expected to alter primary productivity in forested ecosystems with implications for altered carbon and nutrient cycling in soils. You are invited to join us for a day long workshop at the Birmingham Institute of Forest Research (BIFoR) site near Nobury Juction in Staffordshire. The workshop will involve a guided tour of the first UK Free Air Carbon Dioxide Enrichment experiment of BIFoR in the morning followed by relevant presentations in the afternoon.
