Following the soil health enquiry, the first UK Soil Health Report was published on the 2nd June 2016.
Drawing from eighty pieces of written evidence and 16 expert witness oral evidence, the Environmental Audit Committee have created a report which considers the current state of soil health; the extent to which current policies and programmes protect our soils; and discusses suggestions arising from the enquiry to help protect the health of our soils.
Join the Northern Soils Network to discuss the future of UK soils and the potential impact and importance of this Report in an informal and friendly setting.
